"I had enormous benefit from seeing Matt for a mid back problem over two years ago, and after being recently diagnosed with a prolapsed disc following an injury at work, I didn’t hesitate to book in with Matt again. I was reluctant to go the surgery route offered by my consultant, so Matt put together a plan of management to help me get back to my usual self. The pain I was in has been significantly reduced, and I am much more comfortable when travelling to away games with Mansfield Town Football Club. Thanks to Matt’s amazing care, I am pleased to have avoided surgery."

"Having suffered from shin splints and back pain for several years, I’ve been astounded by Matt’s knowledge and skills. He explained to me my problems were caused by dysfunction in the spinal joints and poor foot mechanics. I completed a comprehensive video assessment, after which Matt provided me with chiropractic treatment and orthotics, recommended nine other specialists including podiatrists and orthotists, and totally rebuilt my ski boots. The connection between my body and skis is now perfect, I am no longer in pain, and my performance has increased to a level I never before thought possible.
Due to Matt’s professional approach, amazing knowledge and expert abilities, I asked him to be my primary consultant at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, which I plan to compete at in 2010. He has already provided healthcare, nutritional advice and performance training for me at World Cup events, and he liaises regularly with my coaches in the UK and USA. I highly recommend Matt for all your healthcare needs."

Holistic Skin Care, a case study by Val Tatlow
One year before her wedding, Maria* came to me to discuss her skin care issues leading up to the big day. She suffers with eczema, which can sometimes flare with stress. We discussed her skin care regime and topical steroid use, as well as her body's reaction to stress in both her personal and work life. I suggested a monthly Bharti Vyas Harmonising full body massage to help to balance her system and support her skin at this time of added pressure. The massage also promotes a sense of wellbeing and we hoped this would help avoid a flare of eczema in the weeks before the wedding.
Maria found the massage routine and ayurvedic oil complementary to her skin care and we succeeded in avoiding any flares during the year prior to the wedding and, indeed, her skin was virtually clear for the wedding day.
In the last three months before the wedding we paid particular attention to hand care, a common problem in eczema patients and the Harmonising treatment, together with a regular manicure, also helped to ensure that no flare occurred on the hands. Maria also asked me to do her make up on the wedding day and so, following our holistic skin-care plan and home skin-care regime she arrived at the altar with her skin glowing, her make-up perfect, her hands neatly manicured and free from eczema.

Food sensitivity testing - How Dita was able to enjoy ice cream again - By Bess Purser
Over the last seven or eight years, Dita* had been suffering from a food sensitivity which caused a skin rash every time she ate any dairy products. The rash developed around her midriff, with small, raised lumps accompanied by a general feeling of malaise. The feeling, along with the rash would last about a week before slowly disappearing. Dita had had to completely change her diet, choosing soya products instead of diary, and eating out had become quite a challenge.
During the course of her kinesiology sessions, Dita was muscle-tested with dairy products to see which were causing the problem. All the dairy foods tested caused her muscles to weaken. She was tested again with a digestive enzyme supplement in her system, and this time the muscles tested strong (indicating it was an enzyme deficiency causing the skin reaction).
Dita continued to avoid all dairy products whilst taking a course of the digestive enzyme supplement for several months. Further muscle tests following this showed that Dita was now able to enjoy dairy products, ice cream included!
By accepting responsibility for her own health, Dita was able to achieve such a positive result. Being mindful, she can now enjoy the occasional ice cream and eating out is no longer a cause for concern.
